All righty. Let's spark this board with an RP I like to call "Alabaster Sheen". Here's the lowdown:
"
Prologue: A dark figure crept towards the Tower of Kavat. Using the shadows as his cover, he slipped unseen through the door. The loud creak of the rusty hinges disturbed nothing, as there was nothing to be disturbed. The beings first step onto the ancient cobblestone floor unleashed a loud echo that spiraled up the tower, and slowly faded into darkness. This man was a servant of the Sorcerai, a cult that was devoted to the uniting of the glyphs. The Tower of Kavat housed the Glyph of Courage, and it was the only known location of any of the four glyphs.
As the thief crept further up the tower stairs, no being was trying to stop him. The ancient enchantment that guards the glyph from theft has been intact for centuries. The human guards that used to stand here had long since left, as there was no true need for them. Until now. The man opened the door to the chamber that encased the glyph, but did not enter. He tossed in a creation of the Sorcerai, called a dispellant. It was a small, purple ball with thousands of tiny engravings all over its surface. It slid across the floor and unleashed a dark, purple pulse that left the room even quieter than before. With the assurance of his safety, he walked confidently into the room and stopped at the pedestal that held the glyph.
Much to man’s surprise, the glyph was rather dull. It was a tiny copper badge, with a diameter similar to that of a cracker. Covering its surface were many engravings in a script that the thief had never seen before. He used caution as he lifted the glyph from its enchanted surface. And nothing happened. His shock turned to elation as he realized that the dispellent had actually dispelled the enchantment that protected the glyph. The man had survived.
A swell of bravery already started in the man’s heart as he practically flew down the many flights of stairs. The glyphs effects were already starting to work on the man. Soon he had more courage in his body than a crazed war veteran. In fact, the man had done the impossible. And now the world would have to pay."
Geography - Arcinth is a large continent. It is divided into two regions by a mountainous pass called the Jyran Mountains. The two regions are the Tsuwey and the Gallahan. While both regions are populated by numerous creatures, the Gallhan region is mostly human in population, and is mostly civilized. Tsuwey is populated, but has many more forests and jungles.
Plotline - For years, the Tower of Ghet has stood in the middle of Gallahan for years, keeping safe one of the four glyphs of power. A Glyph is a copper badge, with the diameter of a cracker. It cases a powerful magic. Legend has it that each Glyph has an attribute, and that the glyph in all senses represents that attribute, and grants its powers to its holder. The four glyphs are The Glyph of Courage, The Glyph of Anger, The Glyph of Intellect, and the Glyph of Camaraderie. The Tower of Ghet holds the Glyph of Courage, and it is the only Glyph whose location is known. If these Glyphs are abused, chaos would ensue.
So, characters are pretty free-form. Races are as follows:
Human Based: Human, Dwarf, Elf, Hobbit, Gnome, Fey, (Half-Race of any)
Animane Based: Pretty much every major animal species has an animane equivalent, (generally with the "phine" suffix where applicable).
Monster Based: Goblin, Harpy, Orc, Ogre, Hag (Half-Race of any)
This is the character sheet:

Weapons/Abilities:
Now, an example, as well as my character:
Name: Bruno Lufkin
Age: 37
Sex: Male
Race: Elephine
History: Raised in the castle town known as Killinton, Bruno was raised by his parents, both Elephine. Though an animane family is rare in Gallahan, and even rarer in the castle town, a lot of discrimination that would normally occur was not apparent, as Elephine had been known to enlist in the military (and be a valuable asset). Upon the age of 16, Bruno entered the army, and quickly rose ranks with both skill and determination. Upon reaching Sergeant, he went to the commander and asked to study in the ways of the Juggernaut. A form of combat meant for larger fighters, it utilizes weight distribution training to prevent movement. Coming into it naturally, Bruno turned into an official operative, doing jobs for the king that the average soldier couldn't handle. He is now an acting general of the Gallahan Army, leading troops into battle with confidence.
Appearance: 7'11'', 658 lbs. Bruno is a tank of a being, his wide frame matching his thick midriff. Even though he's developed some fleshy coating over his muscles, he has not gotten any weaker in his middle-age. His tusks extend a good two feet from his head, and his left ear has a large tear up the middle. Bruno wears a thick suit of armor crafted from white gold. It covers his body, and he even wears a custom-made helmet with a thick, ruby trim.
Personality: Bruno is a jolly paladin, filled with both joy and righteousness. He often puts the needs of others over his own, and cares deeply for those close to him. He also find humor in even the dreariest of situations. Bruno's overall happy demeanor is accompanied by a deep loyalty to the kingdom. In his spare time, Bruno enjoys playing the lute, and has a passion for writing ballads.
Weapons/Abilities: Bruno wields a massive war hammer, furbished in the same fashion as his armor. The form in which he utilizes it is, in fact, graceful, and it allows him to quake the earth the treads upon. He is also very difficult to be moved, do to special weight distribution training.
Now, for some rules:
1. Posts MUST be 100 words or more. (Enacting some quality control, since "Then he attacked" isn't really getting into character).
2. NO. GOD. MODDING. Nate's gone over this, but just to be clear. Don't control other people's characters.
3. Please keep all posts in the Third-Person Past Tense, for purpose of clarity.
4. Don't double post just to progress the story (although I may do that as the DM to keep it moving).
5. One character per person. Then it allows one to really get into their character.
6. Be nice. And not overly gory. Tastefully gory is good though.
7. Erotic content is like gory content. Should be kept to a relative minimum and not to excessive means.
8. Have Fun! (Cuz I'm that guy)
Okay, so lets do it:
Gallahan:
-Bruno (ninjaelephant)
-Lufael (Nate)
Tsuwey:
-Athrömír (toby)
-Nuushalin (Quiggs)
Dark Forces:
-Pasque (Nate)
