To help build awareness of both our existence and the existence of the idividual writers that inhabit this forum, I have decided to compile a chapbook of our works (with permission of course) to hand out as free reading material in various locations and venues, specifically in waiting rooms.
A chapbook is essentially a small pamphlet of stories or poems. Light, simple, and cheap, they are the perfect giveaway advertising tools for those who attend conventions or other organized events.
So here's the catch: I want this particular chapbook to be composed entirely of new material. Submissions, which should be sent to me via private message, will be considered on an earliest submission and then best submission process. The pamphlet will be relatively short, perhaps a mere twenty story pages, so plot accordingly.
This topic may be used to discuss various things such as distribution, or a unified theme if you'd like. It may also be used for suggestions.
Poetry and Prose submissions only. We will also need one visually artistic piece to serve as a front cover.
Despite the use of your material, all rights will remain to the creator. All rights.
If you should choose to distribute any chapbooks bearing the Write Club name or the submitted works of those whom have created it, you must acknowledge and understand that distribution may not be for monetary gain.
