Well, my first attempt at one of the Prompts. I didn't even think about this before hand at all. this will probably be half assed Hope you like it!
They all looked at him. His speech filled their ears as they cheered in agreement. It disgusts me. They follow him blindly, not even understanding his goal: take over lesser colonies, human and alien. He is the leader of the colonies on this world, not even elected, announced himself. Just because he is the leader does not mean he's right. But these "people" will follow him blindly, like lemmings led to the water, they will die at his will. That is where I come in.
I am here to protect this world from devastation. I wait in the room behind the balcony. I hear his final words to this speech. Looking over, I make sure the body guard's are well hidden. The blood concealed. He walked in with a smug look on his face. He looked around the room, now a puzzled look crossed his face. He realized his guards are gone. I drop from the corner where i was propped up.
"We see the truth through your lies," I said as I walked toward him, sword in hand. He looked at the symbol on my shoulder.
"I've seen you before, but my men killed you!" He said, being backed into a corner.
"No, There are many of us out there. We protect not only humanity, but all sentient life in the universe." I explained to him.
"You can kill me, but my empire will stay. My followers will continue my mission for me."
"We're here to make sure that doesn't happen," I said. More of the Turtle Order came out of hiding. Pure terror crossed his face as he watched all of us come towards him.
"We will make sure someone better gets into power next," a man next to me said. "Your old followers will slowly shift their morals to the new leader." He was speechless. I walked over to him and looked straight into his eyes.
"What are your last words? This is how you will be remembered." I said to him with authority in my voice. A large explosion came from beyond the doors.
"They are loyal to only me," he said. I drove the sword into his chest, he bled out as he slumped on the floor. Without skipping a beat, all of my order had started running toward the balcony. Easiest escape is off the roof.
"Fire!" A voice behind me yelled. The sound of energy rifles filled the room as I ran. A burning pain covered my back. I fell onto my knees. I look at my tech-pad on my arm. I press a few options and the countdown starts. At least I'm leaving this universe on a success.
