Because you haven't done enough survivin', Microsoft Game Studios and Undead Labs (which was founded in 2009 by Jeff Strain, whose resume includes lead programmer on World of Warcraft) have teamed up to bring a new open-world zombie survival franchise to XBLA, codenamed 'Class3.' The premise of the studio's inaugural title was revealed in a press release today:

From the developers' site:
This is the mother of all zombie outbreaks, the F5 on the Fujita scale, the 10 according to Richter. The end is here, now. Standing against the tide are the survivors, one of whom you choose to control in a 3rd-person action game like no other. Your only quest is one of survival, you define the mission by how you define the word. Many will band together and work to improve their lives by building a society, utilizing skills and training from their former lives to rebuild infrastructure and order. Some will go it alone, preferring to scratch out their own safe harbor. All will have to face the rising tide of the undead, the perfect foe, a relentless enemy. All will fight.

This may or may not be the game I've been waiting for. Zombie enthusiasts of the world, unite!
A few things to note about the game (for those who don't read the article):
It's being released for the XBLA, then the sequel will be for 360. None for the PC.
Two player split-screen or over XBL, then MMO style (or Online World) for the sequel.
They're trying to find a way that's better than microtransactions/subscriptions for Class4 (Class3's sequel that will be more like an MMO).
It's a dynamic, open world game. It will hopefully be like living in a world where zombies actually did exist.
I encourage you to actually read the article, because it seems they're offering quite a bit. Hopefully they can deliver.
