Find all of the details on the rules of this challenge here: theocarinanetwork.com/topic/6800094/1/Now, I'll be doing this in *Emerald* (because I can't seem to find my FireRed) version. I tried earlier in LeafGreen, and then Misty Decimated my whole team. I turned that into a normal run through, but I've decided to try again. I will this time be telling the story of young Trevor as he goes across the land of Kanto, describing the events in a blog fashion. Wish me luck!

Trevor stepped out of his moving van, eager to see his new home. The air of Littleroot filled his lungs, and he knew that this time it would be different. He could feel it.
After a winded conversation with his mother, Trevor took a visit to the neighbors, and met May. She seemed nice, and she told him that her father was a pokemon professor. Eager to meet him, Trevor went to his lab, but he was nowhere to be found. He exited the building, and a loud screaming suddenly fired from the woods. Running to see what was happening, the young boy saw what could only be the professor, being attacked by a vicious pokemon. "Quick boy! Grab one of the pokeball in my bag and help me!"
Trevor ran over, grabbed a ball, and tossed it out. A small mudkip popped out (u liek?), and yipped, before turning on the professor's attacker. It fought valiantly and saved the professor. The rescued man turned to Trevor, inviting him to his lab.
In the lab, Trevor was told that he could keep his Mudkip. Birch felt that Trevor was destined to be a trainer, and that this was the least he could do for saving him. Trevor named his new friend Kingsly, and then set off on his adventure!
