If a story you have already written was going to be translated into a video game, who would you want to make it and how do you picture them doing it?
Your answer can be as broad or narrow as you want it to be.
Well, I guess I'll start it off!
Strider' Story- After playing Assassin's Creed, I started to think about this thought as to how well they could make Strider's Story into a similar controlling game. They could pull it off very well. The assassins and the people in The Organization have very similar move sets and skills. The Assassin's Creed Team from Ubisoft is the obvious choice for this translation.
Ashley Mott- I've thought about this one before... The first part where she goes back in time, before the war starts, would have to be back story and it would be hard to put into the action game that the rest of the story would want to be. Because the rest of the game would be more action oriented, I would pick Bungie for this task. Look at Halo, now look at Ashley Mott, now look back at Halo. Bungie would do an amazing job bringing the aliens to life, like they did the covenant.
And I'm still figuring out the Infected Shorts... Got a good idea, but not completely weeded-out yet.

Zombie story = Valve. Great story tellers, and they've got the infected down pat
Life as we Know It = FROM software and Bioware should work together. I know it's not done, but mechs will play a huge part, and no one is better at mecha games than FROM. Problem is, their story telling has always been bland...Bioware would spice it up nicely.
Dustin Echoes = Definitely Bungie. It's set in the god damn Halo universe!

I haven't really got into any of my novels yet, but of them only one(the others are Jodi Picoult type stuff) would make a great video game.... This particular novel features 13 individuals blessed with the powers of the stars, making them the living embodiment of the 12 Zodiac constellations(two are gemini, but act as one). A plague of darkness has shadowed the earth and can only be defeated by the power of the stars...
I'd love to see it made by Square Enix, the developers of the Final Fantasy games-the style just really fits.

...Okay well. My writing history branches a crapload further back than you guys might know.... So here's what I've currently got on paper at some point in time >.>;
Red Moon - Red Moon was a manga I started to write Freshman year. The story centers around Eric, a young boy who finds a dying Wolfite (Artificial Vampire Werewolves) and helps her to recover, while the full Werewolves kidnap his twin and hunt the rest of the Wolfites. Meanwhile, the Starlit, a girl with psychic abilities said to be the Goddess of the Night Sky, is being hunted by a the Werewolves and a government faction. This government faction later takes in Eric and the Wolfite girl, and helps Eric to cope with his transformation process and the fact that he must kill his Werewolfed twin brother.
Who would develop this? I'm gonna go ahead and say Namco, who had a hand in the Xenosaga franchise as well as being the larger half involved with the Tales RPG games. The game itself would be an RPG of some form. Perhaps a tactics game in the vein of Fire Emblem and Disgaea, with just a dash of Tekken for combat.
I'll come back later. Also, I won't be posting the stories that I've written specifically as games. That just isn't fair >.>;

Oh I started a videogame, complete with controller mappings and the whole 9 yards. Based it with my Shaileen species which should be living somewhere in the prose section if anyone wants to take a gander. That goes to Bioware too. I fuckin love those guys.
